However, the Eagles’ 24-6 first-half deficit, inability to stop the Cowboys on third down, and three turnovers were the biggest reasons why they lost 33-13, dropping them to 10-3 and putting them in a three-way tie with the Cowboys and the San Francisco 49ers for the top seed in the conference, and in a fight for the NFC East, something that felt unfathomable just three weeks ago.
