Eagle-eyed Rangers fans crack Ross Wilson meet-up clip mystery
Ross Wilson #RossWilson
Eagle-eyed Rangers fans appear to have cracked a mystery meet-up involving Ibrox sporting director Ross Wilson and a mysterious Rabbi Matondo-linked figure at Glasgow airport.
Rangers fans were sent into a bit of an online frenzy as they tried to deduce who the figure putting bags into the back of Ross Wilson’s car was.
Whilst some had it earmarked as then Angers midfielder Angelo Fulgini – who has since moved to Bundesliga outfit Mainz – the latest from the amateur sleuths suggests it did have something to do with a transfer after all.
Rangers fans reckon Ross Wilson was meeting Rabbi Matondo’s agent
Rangers this week announced the signing of Welsh international and ex-Schalke winger Rabbi Matondo and images of the player signing may give a clue as to who was with Ross Wilson.
Gers fans believe that the figure putting bags into the back of the car was actually Danny Williams, who is the agent of the 21-year-old latest Ibrox signing.
It somewhat puts to bed any conjecture regarding the apparent meeting and ties off any suggestion that Rangers director Ross Wilson had met anyone else at the airport.
Rabbi Matondo joins Rangers from Schalke on a four-year deal with reports suggesting that the Ibrox club have paid £2.5m for the 21-year-old Welsh international winger [Scottish Sun].
Kudos to those Rangers fans who connected the dots and let’s hope it’s not the final encounter Wilson has with a player’s agent in Glasgow in the weeks to come.
If reports are to be believed Rangers remain in the hunt for more first-team stars after ramping up their transfer business in the last few weeks.

John Souttar, Antonio Colak, Tom Lawrence and now Rabbi Matondo have breathed freshness into the squad and it’s likely the bears are not done there.
According to the latest reports surrounding the Ibrox side, Rangers have turned their attentions to a player currently turning out for Bayern Munich.
