A dispute between the Walt Disney Company and Spectrum led to some Missouri Tigers football fans being in the dark on Thursday night. Just as the Tigers’ football season kicked off on Thursday night, ESPN and other sports channels were blacked out on TV. Among those channels is the SEC Network, the channel airing the Missouri game on Thursday. Walt Disney and Charter Communications have been in a distribution dispute. “The Walt Disney Company has removed their programming from Spectrum which creates hardship for our customers,” Spectrum tweeted. “We offered Disney a fair deal, yet they are demanding an excessive increase.”There’s no indication when the dispute will end.
