Dual Brownlow medallist Nat Fyfe subbed out of Fremantle Dockers crunch clash with Richmond
Fyfe #Fyfe
Fremantle captain Nat Fyfe has limped off the ground and into the rooms with what appears to be a hamstring injury, continuing his torrid injury streak.
Fyfe put in a sprint effort to pursue the ball in the forward pocket and was pushed from behind by Richmond captain Dylan Grimes.
He grabbed immediately for his left hamstring as he careered towards the fence.
He made a fleeting effort to stay in the play before turning for the interchange and heading underneath Marvel Stadium accompanied by a doctor.
Travis Colyer has been activated as the medical substitute, with Fyfe returning to the bench sporting an ice-pack.
Fyfe had spent most of the game stationed forward alongside Griffin Logue to fill the void left by the injured Rory Lobb. He had already kicked a goal from his 10 disposals.

It is Fyfe’s fifth game back since completing an arduous recovery that included both shoulder and back surgery.
The Dockers have five games left in 2022 as they look to firm up a top-four spot heading into what is likely to be their first finals appearance since 2015.
More to come.
