Set to Taylor Swift’s newly re-recorded ‘Look What You Made Me Do’, we see Liv transition from heartbreak and grief to anger and then eerie calmness in the trailer.
“It was one night,” an angry Will tells Liv in the opening scene, who confronts her husband after seeing something upsetting on his computer.
Cue a sequence of Liv angry running, burning and bagging up clothes, drinking and dancing, and smashing a glass during a romantic meal with Will.

Liv can’t help but notice her husband’s attraction to Benson’s character and acknowledges her with a glare.
Shortly after we see Liv taken away in a police car, followed by a scene where she goes to hit husband Will and another where she’s sat in an interview room at a local police station.

“We trust each other, right?” she asks Will in the next sequence, whilst standing at a cliff-top, reaching out for his hand. As Will joins her at the cliff edge, we see Liv’s hand waiver near his back, looking like she’s going to push him off.
Liv is tearful and unsure, as we see a flashback of happier times in their marriage replayed, before the trailer concludes and the release date is confirmed.
The series is based on the best-selling book of the same name by BE Jones, which has been adapted for screen by Marnie Dickens. Dickens is also executive producer of Wilderness, which is directed by So Yong Kim of Lovesong fame.
Wilderness will be released on Prime Video on September 15.
