DJ Khaled Adds a Last-Minute Track to ‘Khaled Khaled’ — a Cardi B Collab

Room for one more? DJ Khaled unlocked a 13th collaboration on his upcoming Khaled Khaled album with his major keys, and it’s with Cardi B.

On Thursday (April 29), one day before his self-titled album drops, he alerted his fans about the updated 14-song track list with “Big Paper,” featuring Cardi, in the third slot. “CARDI B VOCALS IS IN!! ALBUM 101% DONE!!!!” he exclaimed on his socials.

DJ Khaled posted a video to Instagram in which he’s in the midst of purchasing $2.5 million worth of jewelry in celebration of the album’s release when he discovers Cardi returned the “last minute” record he sent with her vocals, confirming she’s all aboard the Khaled Khaled train. The video wraps with Khaled tooting the “Cardi B vocals is in” horn while leaping into his pool. He posted another video of Cardi’s head cropped onto Michael Jordan’s body to compare his buzzer beater that cinched the Chicago Bulls’ historic sixth NBA championship title in 1998 to Cardi’s clutch last-minute addition to the album.

Cardi appeared on the “Wish Wish” track with 21 Savage featured on DJ Khaled’s 2019 album Father of Asahd. The two also worked together on Jennifer Lopez’s 2018 single “Dinero.”

DJ Khaled (real name Khaled Mohamed Khaled) announced Tuesday that he will release his new album this Friday via We the Best Music, Epic and Roc Nation. He listed his sons and album cover stars Asahd Tuck Khaled and Aalam Tuck Khaled, as well as himself and Allah, as executive producers of the album.
