Didsbury Gin appoints C&C as distribution partner and launches limited-edition flavours, inspired by British hedgerow with a twist

Didsbury Gin has appointed C&C as its official distribution partner as the company bids to grow its on trade distribution. It also marks a step change in how the brand plans to tackle awareness in the UK, significantly investing in marketing and NPD. The first example being its new Limited Edition range, which is inspired by the great British hedgerow, but with a twist.

The selection of pink hued gins are reminiscent of those floral and fresh scents associated with invigorating country walks and hazy summer days.

The new Didsbury Gin collection is tailored to the palette of the modern gin-eration; good enough to drink neat, perfect with tonic and delightful in cocktails. Like all Didsbury’s products, these combine traditional artisan methods and infusing modern botanicals using a blend of hand peeled fresh citrus, British roots, and hand cracked juniper berries. The result is clean, crisp and zesty – this is gin, but not as you know it…

Peach & RoseThis may be the most delicate and light of all the new flavours, but like all Didsbury Gins it doesn’t hold back. A perfect harmony of light rose, Turkish delight flavours and a citrus undertone this delicate and sweet new flavour is the perfect addition to summer drinks lists.

Perfect Serve? Peachy & T: Fill a glass with a few peach wedges and crushed ice. Pour 50ml Didsbury Gin Peach & Rose and 25ml lime juice over the ice. Top with 125ml of your favourite tonic. Serve with a Rosemary garnish.

Plum & RosehipRipe stone fruits and a hint of tartness make this flavour combination something truly special. Sweet plum perfumed notes of violet alongside a gentle citrus flavour give this a warm, fruity, floral and citrus forward finish.

Perfect Serve? Plum Sour: Dry shake 50ml Didsbury Gin Plum & Rosehip, 25ml lemon juice, 15ml simple syrup and 1 egg white. Add ice and shake hard again to chill. Strain into a coupe glass and enjoy

British BrambleOne of the most iconic British flavours, packed full of flavour, notes of fresh blackcurrant, citrus aromas and red fruits. The sumptuous blend of blackberries, raspberries and floral undertones end in a fresh, floral sweet taste.

Perfect Serve? Bramble Cocktail: Add 50ml Didsbury Gin British Bramble, 30ml lemon juice, 1tbsp sugar syrup and ice to a cocktail shaker. Shake to chill. Strain into tumbler glass with crushed ice. Drizzle 1tbsp crème de mure over. Garnish with lemon and blackberries. Delicious!
