INGLEWOOD, CALIF. — Russell Wilson has been sacked a lot in his career.

He’s rarely been taken down at this rate, however.

The 11th-year pro was sacked six times Sunday against the Rams, bringing his season total to 49 in 13 starts.

“I’ve got to be cleaner for everybody involved and we’ve all got to be better, all of us included,” Wilson said. “But it starts with me. We’ve got to figure that out.”

Wilson was sacked 427 times in the regular season during 10 years in Seattle, but 49 this year is the second-highest total of his career and trails only 2018, when he was sacked 51 times. Even then, when he also had a career-worst sack rate of 10.7%, it happened over 16 starts.

“The line battled their butts off,” said Wilson, whose sack rate climbed to 10.4% on the season. “You never want to get into games like that where you’re trying to catch up like that.”

It’s the second straight start for Wilson that he’s been sacked six times and, between those outings, back-up Brett Rypien was sacked seven times against Arizona last week.

Singleton racks it up: Another Sunday, another eye popping tackle total for Alex Singleton. The Broncos inside linebacker finished the blowout loss with 20 more tackles and now has 144 on the season. That is the most since D.J. Walker had 170 in 2007.

It’s Singleton’s third game with at least 16 tackles this season. In two games this year at SoFi Stadium, not far from where he grew up in Thousand Oaks, California, Singleton had 41 tackles.

Dulcich’s day: Another hometown kid, rookie tight end Greg Dulcich, scored his second touchdown of the season and, like Singleton, enjoyed SoFi this year. Dulcich also scored here against the Chargers in his first career game.

Dulcich, however, left the game late with a hamstring issue after running a deep route. He also missed most of the offseason program and the first five games of the year with a hamstring injury.Dulcich finished with four catches for 39 yards and now has 33 catches for 411 yards and two touchdowns on the season.

Starters return: Before the Broncos turned in a dud of an outing, the day actually started with good news for Denver on the injury front.

All five players listed as questionable made the active roster, making this the healthiest squad Denver had fielded in several weeks.

Wide receiver Courtland Sutton (hamstring), outside linebacker Randy Gregory (knee), offensive lineman Dalton Risner (shoulder/back/elbow), running back Latavius Murray (foot) and nickel K’Waun Williams (knee) all suited up and played for the Broncos, though it didn’t make any difference in the end.

Denver’s inactives: Receivers Kendall Hinton (hamstring) and Brandon Johnson, tight end Albert Okwuegbunam, tackle Calvin Anderson (ankle), corner Michael Ojemudia, defensive lineman Elijah Garcia and quarterback Jarrett Guarantano.
