DeAndre’ Bembry: Let go by Toronto

Bembry non-guaranteed contract was waived by the Raptors on Tuesday, Blake Murphy of The Athletic reports.

Bembry was released in a slew of moves that included waiving Rodney Hood and Paul Watson. These transactions could be signaling that the Raptors are set to make a big move after trading Kyle Lowry to the Heat. After spending four seasons with the Hawks, Bembry averaged 5.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.0 steals during his first season in Toronto.
