DAZN apologised to boxing fans who had to watch the start of Anthony Joshua vs Otto Wallin on mute on Saturday night.
Just moments before the main event of the ‘Day of Reckoning’ event got underway, all audio cut out completely from the PPV.

There was no sound whatsoever
There was no sound for the opening three rounds and a message popped up on the DAZN stream which read: “Apologies for audio issues.”
It was only at the start of round four that the issue was finally fixed – a quarter of the way through the bout.
The fight commentator then said: “We want to apologise to those of you in certain parts of the world who experienced audio issues. We are back now.”
The debacle did not go down well on social media.
One fan wrote: “Somebody’s getting fired.”
A second said: “I thought I was going deaf.”
A third fan commented: “Cheers DAZN thought my ears stopped working.”
And another simply put: “Absolute joke.”
The Joshua vs Wallin fight took place on the same card as Deontay Wilder vs Joseph Parker.
It was clear that the expectation was for AJ vs Wilder to take place in 2024, assuming both emerged victorious.
However, Parker shocked Wilder in an excellent performance and beat him by unanimous decision just minutes before Joshua’s fight.
Therefore he has wrecked AJ’s plans and the Brit’s future is now unclear.
