David Haye ignores John Fury’s chilling warning as boxing legend attends Wembley for Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte

DAVID HAYE has ignored John Fury’s warning not to commentate Tyson Fury’s grudge match with Dillian Whyte.

Dotting dad John was left furious with Haye’s tipping of Whyte to win tonight’s title fight, so much so he demanded someone else call the fight.

But the former WBA heavyweight champion has defied John’s warning to fulfil his duties for BT Sport.

Haye drew the ire of fellow former fighter John earlier this month by saying: “If I had a pound, I’d put it on Dillian Whyte for the upset.

“Yeah, I’m going with Dillian with the massive, massive upset. We had an upset with Anthony Joshua [against Oleksandr Usyk].

“It happens, crazy stuff happens.

“And in the heavyweight division, when you think you have things figured out, something crazy happens.

“And someone crazy is Dillian Whyte, and the fact that he’s not interested in doing any promotion, all he wants to do is get in the ring and fight, I think that’s a positive.”

In an interview with iFL TV, a fired-up John recently said of Haye’s prediction: “Don’t talk about jealous maniacs.

“I’m telling you, he’s not allowed to be there. Because if he is, they’ll regret it.

“If David Haye is commentating on this fight, I’ll tell you now David, you’ve shot your mouth off one too many times and it’s too far.

“If you’re there, mate, have your tin hat on because you’re going to need it, that’s all I’m saying.

“All them other people are has-beens, what are they now? They’ve spent all the money they’ve had.

“They’ve had millions of pounds and they haven’t got the brains to invest it, they’re skint members blowing off blue tick companies for a few quid.

“Let me tell you something, it’s like p***ing in the ocean.

“You can give them all the money in the world and people like that it’s no good to them because cleverer people will take it all off them.”
