David Harbour WORRIES About ‘Stranger Things’ Co-Star Millie Bobby Brown

“Stranger Things” star David Harbour has a real love and worry for his young co-star Millie Bobby Brown.
Millie, who is 17, joined the hit Netflix series when she was just 12-years-old. Throughout the years, Harbour and Millie have grown close.
In case you aren’t a ‘ST’ fan, Millie stars as Eleven and Harbour stars as Jim Hopper, the Hawkins, Indiana police chief as well as the adoptive father to Eleven.
In 2019 it was announced the award-winning show would be coming back for a fourth season. However, in the course of two years, the show has hit some major roadblocks, for example, a year-long worldwide pandemic.

The first teaser trailer for season four was released in February 2020. It showed Hopper with a shaved head in a Russian prison encampment, confirming his return after Season 3 left his fate up in the air.
Netflix announced production on season four had begun in October; however, no official release date has been announced. Many fans think it will hit the streaming platform in 2022.
Harbour recently visited the “That Scene with Dan Patrick” podcast to dish on all things ‘ST.’
The actor opened up about the relationship he has built with Millie since the series began in 2016.
“Millie and I have always had sort of a special relationship because I knew her when she was so young. I knew her before any of this big fame hit,” he said.
His fatherly figure to Millie on-screen has also translated off-screen.
“I have a real protective feeling for her. I have a real, like, worry,” he continued. “I worry about her and the fame and all that she has to struggle with. And I’ve just always felt this kind of deep fatherly affection for her.”
Millie has been the target of online hate and bullying in recent months. A rumored ex-boyfriend of hers went on Instagram Live to dish on their alleged “sex life” while it was illegal.
The TikToker by the name of Hunter Echo claimed to have had a consensual and parent-approved relationship with the actress while she was 15-years old.
He said, “I was living in Millie’s house for eight months, how the f*** is there a lawsuit. Her mom and dad knew about everything.”
A female who was with Echo also got on camera and claimed, “She was obsessed, she was in love.”
After getting intense backlash for the disturbing claims he made, Echo issued somewhat of an apology to Millie after her team threatened him.
The actress’ reps told TMZ, Hunter’s not only being dishonest about what happened with Millie, he’s also being “irresponsible, offensive and hateful.”
However, her reps did not specifically say what Echo was being dishonest about.
Millie’s reps said they would be taking the appropriate actions to shut him down once and for all.
It’s no wonder Harbour is worried about her!
He also took the opportunity to discuss his character’s arc in the upcoming season during the podcast appearance.
“One of the interesting things about Hopper this season — although you do see a lot of that fatherly stuff is — I did want to take him back into the warrior realm because there’s something as you get to be the dad role where, you know, it’s a bit like the dad gene,” Harbour said.
