Former Federal MP and Ambassador to Israel, Dave Sharma says the government was wrong to reverse the decision to recognise West Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
Foreign Minister Penny Wong accused the former government of using the policy to gain votes for Mr Sharma in the seat of Wentworth ahead of the 2018 by-election.
