Dave Chappelle is hosting a special New Year’s Eve comedy show in Columbus.
The comedy star will bring his “In Your Dreams” standup show to Ohio State University’s Schottenstein Center in Columbus on Dec. 31. The show begins at 9:30 p.m., according to Ticketmaster.
Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, Oct. 7, at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.com.

As per usual for a Chappelle show, the event will be cellphone-free, according to a press release. Guests will need to secure their cellphones and smart watches in special pouches at the venue that will be locked throughout the show.
In August, Chappelle’s real estate holdings company purchased the building that houses Wiley’s Comedy Club, a historic comedy club in Dayton. It was the comedian’s latest real estate purchase in the state, following the 52-acre property he bought in Yellow Springs, the small village outside Dayton where he lives.
