Davante Adams insults Aaron Rodgers: Jimmy G does not act ‘like he knows everything’

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams threw Aaron Rodgers under the bus ahead of Monday Night Football when he called Jimmy Garoppolo the most accountable quarterback of his career.

Adams, 30, made sure to make it seem like he wasn’t throwing shade at Rodgers or Derek Carr when saying Garoppolo doesn’t act “like he knows everything.” While the WR is not directly saying his former QBs were know-it-alls, it does suggest the idea.

“Jimmy’s an easy guy to work with because he’s one of the best that I’ve been around at any position, let alone quarterback, of taking accountability,” Adams said. “Not taking anything away from Derek and Aaron, but Jimmy does a good job of not coming in acting like he knows everything.

“He’s open to suggestions and me talking through ways that I’ve done in the past.”

Perhaps Adams threw Rodgers and Carr under the bus to get in the good graces of Jimmy G ahead of the first faceoff against his former team, the Green Bay Packers.

Garoppolo, 31, returned to the lineup after missing last game due to a concussion protocol.

Raiders are currently leading Green Bay 10-3 at halftime.
