DALLAS’ PRESCOTT WINS WEEK 10 TITLE, BUFFALO’S ALLEN SNEAKS TO NO. 1 OVERALL DESPITE OFF GAME IN MIAMI HERALD’S UPDATED NFL QUARTERBACK RANKINGS: Dallas’ Dak Prescott wins Week 10 honors with a 51.40-point game (his first weekly title of the season) in the Miami Herald’s latest NFL quarterback rankings. Buffalo’s Josh Allen bumps up to the No. 1 spot overall for the first all season despite a poor game Monday night, unseating Miami’s Tua Tagovailoa, who was on a bye week and has played one fewer game. Our ratings system is cumulative not percentile-based, rewarding players who are consistently productive and avoid injury or benching. Because it is cumulative, players on a bye week take a temporary hit that evens out over the course of a season. This is the 26th season for the Herald’s Passer Success System (PASS) rankings, which began in 1998 with Steve Young the inaugural season champion. Our ratings formula factors accuracy, passing yardage, touchdown/interception ratio and team result. They are passer ratings per se and do not include a QB’s running statistics.
