Cumberland Valley’s Tyler Merrill adds another college offer to growing list
Tyler #Tyler
Tyler Merrill is one of Pennsylvania’s premier offensive tackles, and his stock is only continuing to rise.
The 6-foot-5, 310-pound sophomore has picked up an offer from Liberty. Merrill’s list of college opportunities is ever-growing, the sweepstakes involving offers from Penn State, Akron, West Virginia, Michigan, Pitt, Syracuse, Ohio State, Temple, Iowa State, Nebraska and South Carolina.
Merrill’s sophomore campaign involved commanding the trenches and paving the way for Eagles running back Bryce Staretz, who ran for 1,573 yards and 20 touchdowns. That potent running game helped Cumberland Valley turn it around from a 1-4 start to the season to make the playoffs.
He’s also ranked No. 3 overall in Pennsylvania’s Class of 2026, too.
