After a slow start, Frank Sanchez showed his devastating power by knocking out Junior Fa.
The pair clashed in Saudia Arabia on Saturday night on the undercard of the ‘Day of Reckoning’ card headlined by Deontay Wilder vs Joseph Parker and Anthony Joshua vs Otto Wallin.

Sanchez was moving well from the opening bell, but he was not putting Fa under enough pressure, allowing him to grow into the fight.
And by round six, Fa looked confident, as he landed two big right hands and he had Sanchez on the back foot and up against the ropes.
The Cuban responded with a jab to the body followed by a heavy right hand clean on the chin of Fa that put him down on the canvas, but he bravely returned to his feet and was saved by the bell.
At the beginning of round seven, Sanchez landed another crushing right hand along with a devastating combination that sent Fa stumbling back down to the floor.
Somehow the man from New Zealand got back up again, but he looked extremely unsteady, being bounced around the ring by Sanchez, as he held on at every opportunity.
Another thunderous right hand saw Fa grabbing onto the ropes in an attempt to keep himself up, but he found himself looking up at the referee for a third time.
Fa tried to continue, but this time the referee had seen enough and he waved off the contest.
This hands Sanchez the 24th win of his professional career, as he remains unbeaten and the 31-year-old is now closing in on a world title shot.

He is ranked in the top ten with all four major governing bodies, so Sanchez will undoubtedly find himself as a mandatory challenger to one of the champions soon.
