Cowboys fans happy Tom Brady’s final NFL game was loss against Dallas

Not long after Brady’s surprise announcement on Wednesday, February 1 – a year to the day after he announced his “first” retirement – Cowboys fans pointed out that Brady’s final NFL game ended in a loss against Dallas. Perhaps naturally, the force behind the team that America loves to hate wasted no time in celebrating this fact over on Reddit.

“Losing to Dallas broke him,” teased u/trainsaw.

“We did something in the playoffs!!!” exclaimed u/734PdisD1ck.

“The Cowboys should now be awarded his 7 Superbowl victories as plunder deserved for finally slaying the legendary beast,” suggested u/Klongon.

“Sent the ‘GOAT’ out to pasture,” quipped u/IamaFunGuy.

“Damn, we really sent him into retirement,” said u/nt_14.

“And the cowboys will not only have that honor, but also the last interception he will ever throw went to a cowboy,” u/letthekrakensleep made sure to be known.

“But literally this is probably the cowboys greatest achievement in like 25 years. Isn’t that great?” admitted a humble u/ifoundyourtoad.

Now, let’s remember why Cowboys fans are reveling in this win. Brady, now 45, has seven Super Bowl championship rings and set a number of NFL records during his 23 seasons in the league.

Brady first announced his retirement in February 2022 before returning to the Buccaneers once again, citing “unfinished business.” Only time will tell whether Brady means it this time or whether third time’s the charm.
