Cowboys fans are done with Dak Prescott, Mike McCarthy after embarrassing half against Packers
McCarthy #McCarthy
The Dallas Cowboys just turned in a half of football in their home playoff game against the Green Bay Packers that … well, that was about as bad as anyone could have imagine.
Score at the half is 27-7 courtesy of a late Cowboys touchdown that cut into the lead.
But even that was a struggle and there just wasn’t much good.
Dak Prescott was awful. The defense wasn’t much better, and Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love led his team up-and-down the field.
Again, it was pretty brutal for the Cowboys and their fans. But it was, without doubt, most brutal for coach Mike McCarthy, who was already facing speculation surrounding his job security heading in.
The Bill Belichick memes and posts are already going up, and social media is not being kind, at all, to McCarthy at the half of this ugly showing.
It also hasn’t been pretty for Prescott, who went 13 of 21 passing for 87 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions that were returned for scores.
In fact, “Playoff Dak” is trending and it’s not good for the Cowboys star.
“The ‘MVP’ QB is terrible,” one fan responded to the Cowboys’ post of the halftime score on X, formerly Twitter.
“Fire Mike McCarthy and Dak Prescott,” another fan wrote. “Both choke in big games. It’s a repeat of week 5!”
“I honestly fire Mike McCarthy, regardless of what happens from here on out,” another person wrote. “Dude’s doing the best coaching job he’s ever done for the Packers.”
“Man Dak Prescott stinks,” another wrote.

“Most embarrassing half of football I’ve ever seen,” another person wrote.
“Thanks for ruining my life ONCE again,’ another person wrote.
It really is an endless stream of bad on social for those two, and really all of the Cowboys, right now.
