Conor Bradley produced a masterclass performance as Liverpool beat Chelsea on Wednesday, which has given Jurgen Klopp a selection headache.

Bradley has hugely impressed since coming into the XI amid injury to Trent Alexander-Arnold and he was the best player on the pitch against Chelsea, with the 20-year-old right-back registering a goal and two assists on a perfect night.

Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai has warned Alexander-Arnold that his starting spot is in doubt while ex-Reds striker Robbie Fowler has argued that Bradley cannot be dropped for Sunday’s huge Premier League clash at Arsenal.

Alexander-Arnold was named on the bench for the match against Chelsea and replaced Bradley after 68 minutes.

But it was Bradley who stole all the headlines as the Northern Ireland international became the youngest Liverpool player to assist two goals in a Premier League game since Alexander-Arnold back in 2019.

‘Trent should take care of his position,’ Szoboszlai, who scored Liverpool’s third goal via an assist from Bradley, told TNT Sports after the match.

‘We need everybody. Trent got injured. It’s unlucky. But with him (Bradley), he has done very well.

‘We are really happy to have him because he showed many times that he is ready to play. Today he got a goal and two assists. He showed what he can do.’

Former Liverpool forward Fowler added: ‘Conor Bradley was absolutely magnificent. Every Liverpool player was brilliant tonight but that was a special performance.

‘The manager will have a headache now because I’m not sure you can leave him out of the side. Anyone who went over his side, he defended unbelievably.’

Klopp also lauded Bradley as the Liverpool boss said: ‘Incredible. Wonderful. He’s flying at the moment. Rightly so.

‘He’s working hard and is a good footballer. He’s helped us so much it’s incredible. Quite a few people said we need a right-back in the summer but we were very positive about Conor.

‘All the injuries we have, we can’t string these results together if these boys don’t show up.

‘What a wonderful kid he is. Outstanding finish, the whole game, the contribution, the involvement. It’s a job to play against [Raheem] Sterling, that’s not easy.

‘I’m really happy for him. He’s a very serious young man and that was pretty special I have to say. We saw in pre-season.

‘He is really doing well. A few weeks ago when I was in holiday a few Bolton fans asked if they could have Bradley back but it’s too late!’
