Students in the Air Force JROTC at Shepard High School in Palos Heights lead a 9/11 Remembrance event last fall on the school’s track. The unit was one of only 50 of the nearly 900 U.S. Air Force JROTC programs in the nation to earn a Distinguished Unit Award.(High School District 218)
