Columbus Weather: Sunshine, warmer temperatures return Monday afternoon

COLUMBUS, OH (WSYX) — Good Monday morning! We have a fairly quiet 7-day forecast with only Thursday sticking out as an inconvenient day for errands. Sunshine & slowly warming temps for the next few days before rain returns.

Mostly sunny today with morning temps in the teens or around 20 then we will warm up with the sunshine to around 41 to the high. Mostly clear tonight with low temps in the lower 20s. We will then warm up with sunny skies tomorrow to a high around 48. A few more clouds on Wednesday through the day and we warm to a high around 55. Light winds out of the south for the coming days.
Rain arrives Wednesday night and we will be wet for Thursday. We start Thursday with a morning low of 43 then a high of 54. Rainfall totals expected around half an inch, but some parts of Central Ohio could see up to 1” of rain on Thursday.
The rain will race to the east early Friday then we will have decreasing clouds and partly cloudy for the weekend. High temps dip to around 46 on Friday then 43 Saturday and 53 on Sunday. Our normal high temperature for today is 42, so temps will remain near and above normal for the next 7 days. Have a good one!
