Chris Ballard says to @dandakich that he anticipates Zach Pascal (a RFA) coming back next year.

No surprise obviously.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Zach Pascal is a restricted free agent this offseason but general manager Chris Ballard anticipates the team will re-sign him.

This comes as no surprise, given how much the Colts like Pascal and the fact that he’s a restricted free agent, which makes it easier for Indy to retain him this offseason.

While Pascal may not carry the same weight as names like Michael Pittman Jr. and T.Y. Hilton, his impact on the roster is huge. He’s the best blocking wide receiver on the team and constantly comes up with big catches to move the chains.

Even though Pascal is a restricted free agent, it wouldn’t be surprising if the Colts signed him to a multi-year extension instead of the one-year offer sheet that comes with being a restricted free agent.

Pascal recorded 44 receptions for 629 yards—both career-highs—and was tied for the team lead with five receiving touchdowns.
