This morning’s College GameDay show will be unlike anything we’ve seen from the longtime college football pregame show.

Week 11 of the 2020 college football season has had several games postponed or canceled. The Week 11 slate is somewhat barren. Thankfully, the sports world doesn’t have to solely rely on college football this weekend.

The Masters is underway from Augusta National. The second round of the major tournament is currently airing on ESPN. There were weather delays on Thursday, causing things to get delayed a bit.

So, the second round is currently finishing up on ESPN. That means College GameDay won’t start on ESPN. It’ll air on ESPN2 until the second round coverage is over.

Here are the details:

The second round of the Masters Tournament will be completed early Saturday morning and will be televised live by ESPN and ESPN Deportes starting at 7:30 a.m. ET, while College GameDay Built by The Home Depot, originating from Augusta National Golf Club, will start on ESPN2 at 9 a.m. and move to ESPN when coverage of the Masters second round finishes.

With the unique timing of the Masters being held in November, ESPN and Augusta National are bringing two sporting event traditions together as College GameDay, the 11-time Emmy Award winning traveling pregame show, (9 a.m. – noon) will emanate from the Par 3 course at the iconic venue.

Hopefully we get a special day from both The Masters and the college football world.
