College GameDay: See Lee Corso’s 400th headgear pick for Colorado vs. Colorado State

Saturday was a big day for ESPN’s College GameDay show for a couple reasons. First, the crew went to Boulder for the first time since 1996 for Deion Sanders and No. 18 Colorado’s Week 3 matchup against Colorado State.

But also, Saturday’s GameDay broadcast featured Lee Corso making his 400th headgear pick — and he’s had some great moments over the years — and he understandably got a bit emotional reflecting on his milestone.

For Corso’s initial picks, he went with Minnesota over North Carolina, West Virginia over Pitt, Penn State over Illinois, Washington over Michigan State, Syracuse over Purdue, Arkansas over BYU, Mississippi State over LSU, Georgia over South Carolina and Tennessee over Florida.

And then, for Corso’s 400th pick, he went picking the 23.5-point favorite Buffaloes over the Rams, noting it was his first time picking Colorado in 26 years.

For the Boulder GameDay broadcast, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was the guest picker, and Sanders gave Johnson a pair of his iconic sunglasses — as he did with many others Friday while fueling his feud with Colorado State’s Jay Norvell.

And while The Rock delivered as an entertaining guest, he also made some solid picks (while wearing those shades and eventually revealing he was wearing a Colorado uniform). He went with North Carolina over Minnesota, Pitt over West Virginia, Penn State over Illinois, Washington over Michigan State, Syracuse over Purdue, Arkansas over BYU, LSU over Mississippi State, Georgia over South Carolina, Tennessee over Florida and Colorado over Colorado State.

The Buffaloes and Rams are set to kick off at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN.
