Clippers vs. Lakers score: Live updates, analysis as NBA season restarts from Disney bubble

Lakers #Lakers

The Lakers and Clippers have already given us three wire-to-wire battles. Why should Round 4 be any different? We’re halfway through the marquee game of this (second) opening night, and the Lakers are ahead of the Clippers 54-52. Anthony Davis leads the way with 20 points on 13 free-throw attempts, and he’s needed all of those points with LeBron James giving the Lakers only six points on 2-of-9 shooting. James is now 25-of-69 from the field against the Clippers this season.

If he doesn’t pick it up, Kawhi Leonard will punish the Lakers. He has 19 points on nine free-throw attempts of his own. Paul George has 11 points of his own, but with Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell out, the Clippers just aren’t getting supplementary scoring. Marcus Morris and Ivica Zubac, both starters, are scoreless, and the bench has contributed only 12 points in total.

Tonight’s battle is just as close as the first three, and fortunately, we’ve got you covered the rest of the way with live updates and analysis.
