Clearview football vs. South Range: Clippers stay close for a half, but get bounced from playoffs

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Defending Division V state champion South Range turned a close game into a second-half rout to defeat No. 6 Clearview, 48-21, in a Region 17 semifinal game at Barberton High School’s Sharkey Stadium.
South Range running back Aidan Dominguez rushed for three touchdowns in the game as No. 2 South Range improved to 12-1. The Raiders will play No. 1 Perry in the regional final next Friday night at a site to be determined.
Clearview’s season ends with a 10-3 record.
