Kaleb Cooper pounded his fists on the dashboard of his car in excitement as he revealed to fans that he’d fulfilled one of his long-held ambitions – buying his own combine harvester.
The machines, which offer an easy way to harvest crops, can be very costly, with some topping the £1 million mark – but Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb has finally managed to purchase his own.
“One of my dreams [was] not just to buy my own farm, but to have my own combine eventually – and guess what? I’ve just done it. I’ve just bought one,” he told his 2.1 million Instagram fans triumphantly.
“Cannot wait for next year. Going to put it in the shed and stare at it for the next seven months!”
He has also raised fans’ eyebrows by making a very bizarre request, as he begins his search for cow semen.
The pet cow Heidi he shares with partner Taya is currently “bulling” and “needs to go to the bull” – but unfortunately, Kaleb doesn’t have a male to offer her.
“Has anyone out there got some Highland semen?” he quizzed, before cheekily quipping: “I bet no one realised they were gonna hear that today!
“I need to buy some Highland semen, or failing that, rent a bull,” Kaleb continued, before worrying that the latter was a “pointless” idea.
“There’s only one [female cow] to do, therefore I think it’s a bit of a pointless exercise to rent a Highland bull for three weeks!” he exclaimed.
Meanwhile, Kaleb has not shared how much his combine cost, or whether it was new or secondhand, although some older models can fetch a much lower price than the top flagship ones.
He’s made no secret of being ambitious, and earlier this month he shared he’d be going on tour to discuss the world “according to Kaleb”.
Fans will see him “driving tractors and milking cows” as well as discussing issues which affect his industry, starting in January 2024.
On the personal life side of things, he also has a wedding to plan for, after revealing that partner Taya started trying to arrange their nuptials within “20 seconds” of delivering their second child.
Daughter Willa arrived this June, as a baby sister for two-year-old son Oscar – and, as the pair have been engaged for almost a year already, Taya wasted no time in booking a wedding venue.
“She did say that as soon as the second baby is born she’d be planning this wedding,” Kaleb confided.
“About 20 seconds after delivering the baby, she says ‘Right, wedding planning, should we have it here or here?’ She’s already booked the venue! So yeah, she’s smashing it!”
He has spoken highly of Taya’s role in his life, appreciatively telling the world: “My other half is the reason I am where I am today.”
