University of Cincinnati alum Ahmad “Sauce” Gardner was drafted No. 4 overall by the New York Jets. A standout corner for his three years at UC, Gardner never allowed a touchdown in coverage.
Sauce moves to the next level as the highest-drafted cornerback in this rookie class. While he didn’t play in a so-called power-five conference, Gardner acquitted himself well in the Bearcats’ College Football Playoff game against Alabama.
