The holidays may be a little different this year, but you can still enjoy a festive meal filled with traditional favorites. Here’s a roundup of some top Palm Beach County restaurants offering special menus for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

III Forks Prime Steakhouse

The options: A la carte holiday menu offered for dine-in or takeout.

The food: Starters include vegetarian spinach dip, shrimp cocktail, and crab cake with Creole beurre blanc. Main courses feature prime double-cut pork chop, 7-oz. ribeye cap and Atlantic salmon with tarragon chimichurri. Desserts offerings are coconut cream cake, Bailey’s chocolate cake, and bread pudding topped with warm bourbon pecan glaze.

Serving: Christmas Eve from 5 to 8 p.m.

Galley at Hilton West Palm Beach

The options: Three courses of traditional holiday fare served family-style

The food: The first course includes truffle cauliflower soup, a roasted apple and green salad with goat cheese and candied bacon, and a deviled egg with caviar parfait. Main course features smoked prime rib with roasted garlic and a cedar-baked salmon with a cranberry glaze. The main course is served with a combo of side dishes: sweet corn pudding and roasted Brussel sprouts with pancetta and pine nuts. Dessert is rum and banana bread pudding served with dulce de leche and banana ice cream.

The Christmas dinner is also offered as a takeout meal.  All takeout orders must be placed by 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 20.

The cost: $80 for adults, $33 age 12 and younger. 

Serving: Christmas Day from 3 to 10 p.m.

The Ben

The options: Special prix fixe dinners at Proper Grit and Spruzzo

The food: First course includes roasted chestnut soup, smoked eel with caramelized pumpkin croutons. Main course features New York strip beef Wellington and foie gras duxelles with roasted brussels sprout and truffle mashed potatoes. Dessert is a pecan tart.

The food: An all-you-can-eat raw bar featuring ceviche, stone crab claws, King crab legs, West Coast oysters (Kumamoto/ Fat Bastards) shucked to order topped with Uni, salmon roe, chalaca

Taru at Sundy House

The options: A decadent seasonal buffet, brunch

The food: Christmas Eve buffet: Hot items include ribs, fried chicken, Mahi piccata, salmon, butternut squash soup, mixed vegetables. Cold items include potato salad, orzo salad and tomato mozzarella salad. Dessert options include an ice cream bar, pies and bread pudding.

Christmas Day brunch: traditional breakfast items, fried chicken, turkey with cranberry, a variety of salads; a raw bar including crab legs, calamari salad, oysters, shrimp cocktail

The cost: Both buffets are $75 for adults, $37.50 for age 12 and under

The food: Menu includes octopus, seppia (cuttlefish), jumbo shrimp, scallops and lobster, served with baccala (dried and salted cod) and white anchovies.

The food: The holiday menu includes penne vodka sauce, chicken parmigiana, roasted potatoes with truffle oil, parmesan string beans and baby carrots. Desserts are coconut cake and chocolate pie.
