Christina Kauffman: Ken Buck must be a comedian
Ken Buck #KenBuck
Seems as though Mr. Ken Buck has aspirations as a comedian.
Two weeks ago he joined an amicus brief to disenfranchise millions of American voters and try to disavow the results of a fair and constitutional election. Then, as things heated up, Mr. Buck decided not to object to the results of our fair and constitutional election.
How big of him!
After insurrectionists led by D.J. Trump overran our Capitol building and were there to do bodily harm to our Congress, he meekly and politely asks President-Elect Joe Biden of whom he disavowed being the rightful winner of the election, to control Speaker Nancy Pelosi and tell her not to impeach Trump.
There is some dark comedy there, Mr. Buck.
He has revealed himself as an amoral toady to the extreme far right and, if it suits him, he kisses up to the President-Elect and asks Mr. Biden to handle his party leaders just as D. J. Trump handled the Republicans for the past four years.
Wow, that’s audacity and a revelation that discredits him as a member of the House of Representatives. D. J. Trump should be removed by way of the Twenty-fifth Amendment but V. P. Pence has as much backbone as Mr. Buck — not much there.
So the House must impeach this anomaly of a president now and I pray that McConnell will finally do his job and utilize the power of the legislative branch of our great country.
