Chris Brown is once again defending himself as critics, including Kiely Williams, criticize him for his history of domestic violence amid news of a new collaboration.

Brown’s history became a hot topic again on Friday when Chloe Bailey announced that she’s collaborating with the controversial R&B singer.

As Blavity previously reported, Bailey’s fans were upset after learning that she’s featuring Brown in her “How Does It Feel” track. Many critics condemned the 24-year-old for collaborating with Brown when she could have chosen anybody else.

Brown is now responding to the latest avalanche of criticism. In his most recent rant on social media, Brown lashed out at fans, saying other celebrities are getting away with violence while he continues to get slammed.

“Where are the cancel culture with these white artist that date underage women, BEAT THE F**K OUT THEIR WIVES, GIVING B***ES AIDS,” Brown wrote on his Instagram Story. “OH. That’s right.. THEY ARE YOUR BUDDIES.”

He also seemingly alluded to the double standard fans have with him versus Blueface and Chrisean Rock, who have a show on Zeus.

Brown specifically called out The Cheetah Girls/3LW singer Williams, one of his biggest critics, TMZ reported. Williams ranted after learning about Bailey’s collaboration with the 33-year-old.

“Let him come out with his own record—so genius, so captivating that it makes us all forget HE BEATS WOMEN,” Williams tweeted. “He can’t so he wont. So what does he do? He slowly creeps back into the mainstream by getting small nods for features on Black Women’s merit. Black women who are more talented, more worthy, but give him the okay. I am swatting the f**king air rn. Garbage.”

Brown went to his Instagram Story to take shots at Williams, mocking her lisp and suggesting that she’s mentally or financially unstable.

He wrote, per Vibe, “I’m getting kinda tired of Ya broken PROMITHIS PROMITHIS.  Obviously you are at a point in your life where either you are broke or broken … THE FACT you think you have to speak negatively about me makes u look so lame… YOUR LIFE AND CAREER MUST SUCK RIGHT NOW. “minding your business WOULDVE been best.. but I guess you don’t have a business or a real job that makes you financially stable. I feel more embarrassed for you and your actual maturity.”

Williams has been vocal in calling out male artists. Earlier in February, Williams sparked a feud with Drake.

The outspoken musician bashed Drake for urging Spotify to pay artists bonuses when they reach streaming milestones.

“We should get bonuses like athletes to motivate the future artists to be consistent and competitive,” Drake wrote on his Instagram Story, according to Billboard. “So feel free to send me a Lebron sized cheque I have enough dinner plates.”

“Oh f**k off,” Williams responded. “It’s something like 1000 streams = 1 album sale. Go to bed, Aubrey. And apologize to Meg. Better yet, delete that whole album.”

As Blavity previously reported, Williams’ comment was referring to Drake mentioning Megan Thee Stallion in his song “Circo Loco.”

“This b***h lie ’bout getting shots, but she still a stallion. She don’t even get the joke, but she still smiling,” Drake said in his track with 21 Savage.

After hearing the lyrics, many people concluded that Drake is referencing Tory Lanez shooting Megan Thee Stallion during an altercation in July 2020.
