Chivas players dance celebration after reaching the Clausura final

C.D. Guadalajara fought hard to beat rivals Cub América 3-1 on Sunday at the Azteca stadium, earning a 3-2 aggregate victory to move on to the 2023 Clausura Grand Final, where they will face Tigres. The first leg is set for Thursday, May 25.

It was a shocking comeback win as Chivas coach Veljko Paunovic proved to be the more tactical against Fernando Ortiz. Paunovic’s approach outshined Ortiz’s defensive one as the Rojiblancos enjotyed goals by Ronaldo Cisneros, and Alan Mozo, Chiquete Orozco sent them above their rivals and into the final.
