Chilly start for the Hudson Valley; temperatures will climb throughout the day

NOW: A cold start with areas of frost this morning. That said, it will feel great this afternoon with highs in the 60s under mostly sunny skies.

NEXT: Dry weather continues and so does the warm-up! Scattered showers are now possible Sunday into Monday.

News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Matt Hammer says the day starts off chilly but will improve with temperatures climbing into the 60s.

FORECAST:

TODAY: Mostly sunny and nice this afternoon after a cold start this morning. Highs around 64 degrees.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy to mostly clear with lows near 48 degrees.

WEDNESDAY: Partly sunny with the warming trend continuing. Highs around 70 degrees. Lows near 53 degrees.

THURSDAY: Partly cloudy to mostly sunny with highs around 74 degrees. Lows near 55 degrees.

FRIDAY: Sun and clouds. Highs around 75 degrees. Lows near 60 degrees.

SATURDAY: PICK OF THE WEEK — Mostly sunny with highs around 77 degrees. Lows around 57 degrees.

SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers now likely. Highs near 68 degrees. Lows around 57 degrees.
