Chiefs vs. Raiders score: Live updates, TV, stream, odds as Patrick Mahomes, Derek Carr battle on Monday night
Chiefs #Chiefs
The Las Vegas Raiders (1-3) and Kansas City Chiefs (3-1) have kicked off on “Monday Night Football” at Arrowhead Stadium. The AFC West was projected to be one of the best divisions in the league, but four games in, the Raiders are struggling.
This divisional matchup could still prove crucial when it comes time for the playoffs if the Raiders turn their season around. Right now, the Chiefs are all around the superior and have the advantage in most categories, but they have not had as many convincing performances as they typically do, leaving areas that the Raiders could expose.
Kansas City’s offense lost Tyreek Hill this offseason, and it has looked different without him. Still, the Chiefs offense typically doesn’t struggle in prime time, meaning Raiders quarterback Derek Carr and company will need to get over their typical struggles at Arrowhead to keep up.
The Raiders are coming off their first win of the season, a victory against the Denver Broncos, so they have some momentum heading into the divisional matchup.
The Chiefs are also coming off a win, defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week, but their loss to the Indianapolis Colts the week before is still in the back of some people’s minds. The Chiefs could erase some doubts with a convincing win Monday night.
To get the win, the Chiefs defense will need to contain the offensive weapons the Raiders have, including receiver Davante Adams.
