Chiefs vs. Dolphins score: Live updates, highlights, stats, TV, streaming for Week 9 showdown in Germany
Dolphins #Dolphins
The Chiefs and Dolphins have one half of their international matchup in the books. For a minute, it looked like the fans in Frankfurt, Germany were going to be in for a high-flying affair between these two AFC juggernauts, especially after Kansas City scored an opening drive touchdown in under three minutes. However, after that scoring drive, the game did grind to a halt with both defenses stepping up for most of the first half and leaving things scoreless for the bulk of the first and second quarter.
The Chiefs did wake up in the closing minutes of first half and enjoyed a 14-point explosion, thanks in part to a fantastic play from the defense. After the Chiefs offense marched 95 yards for a touchdown to go up 14-0, Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa completed a short pass to Tyreek Hill. Trent McDuffie then knocked the ball out of Hill’s hands, which was recovered by Mike Edwards, who then lateraled it back to Bryan Cook and the safety ran it 59-yards for the touchdown to go up by three scores by the break.
Will Miami be able to rebound after that second-quarter collapse and mount the second-half comeback or will K.C. pull away and gain an inside track at the No. 1 seed in the conference going forward?
