Kansas City Chiefs backup quarterback and playoff hero Chad Henne announced his retirement following Sunday’s Super Bowl victory against Philadelphia.
Henne led the team on a 98-yard drive against Jacksonville after Patrick Mahomes was injured.
It was the longest postseason drive in Chiefs’ history.

Henne was also instrumental in helping the Chiefs get back to the Super Bowl in 2020-21 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Henne led the Chiefs to a victory against the Cleveland Browns after Mahomes was injured in the AFC Divisional Round.
He posted his retirement on Instagram and said he was “capping off his career with Bud Light and another ring.”
