Chiefs are the favorites to win the Super Bowl again next year

The Kansas City Chiefs won their third Super Bowl in franchise history on Sunday night when they took down the Philadelphia Eagles, 38-35. Patrick Mahomes was once again named Super Bowl MVP, leading the Chiefs on four consecutive scoring drives in the second half to erase a 10-point deficit.

Although Travis Kelce felt the Chiefs were disrespected heading into the 2022 season, that won’t be true in 2023. After winning it all on Sunday, the Chiefs are viewed as the favorites to hoist the Lombardi Trophy again next February.

According to Tipico Sportsbook, the Chiefs have the best odds of any team to win Super Bowl LVIII next year, sitting at +550. The Bills are the next-closest team at +650, followed by the 49ers (+700) and Eagles (+750).

The Chiefs have reached the Super Bowl three times in the last four years, so they’re no strangers to representing the AFC in the big game. And as good as the conference is expected to be next season, no other team has Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Chris Jones at the top of its roster.

It’s hard not to like the Chiefs to repeat as champions next season.
