The television cameras panned to him several times and he was seen filming the Celtic fans singing the iconic anthem ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’, the song also famously adopted by Liverpool.
The Premier League legend showing his allegiances to the green and white half of Glasgow caused a stir on social media.
Unbeknownst to many, Terry is actually a huge Hoops fan and has been since he was a child.
He told the Celtic website back in 2013: “My brother and I decided that we would choose an English team and a Scottish team each.
“I chose Chelsea and Celtic and my brother went for Rangers which meant we had plenty of rivalry growing up.”
Terry was even linked with the Celtic job before Ange Postecoglou was named as Hoops manager last summer.

The Australian has had a fine season first season in charge, leading the club to the brink of the Scottish Premiership title.
A win in Sunday’s Old Firm would all but wrap up the trophy by putting them nine points clear with three games to go.
