Charles Martin calls out Dillian Whyte with bizarre training video and also has his eyes on Anthony Joshua rematch
Whyte #Whyte
Charles Martin has posted a slightly bizarre training video as he continued his campaign calling out Dillian Whyte.
The American former IBF champion previously branded the Brit an ‘easy fight’ and said he wants to KO him to set up a rematch with Anthony Joshua.
Martin has called out Whyte in an odd clip
Martin was famously dethroned in just two rounds of his first defence against AJ in 2016.
And he has now said upon returning to training: “It’s good to be back. Dillian Whyte, let’s get it on.”
Eddie Hearn previously stated that Whyte’s next two fights will take place Stateside this year.
Jermain Franklin in September appears to be the first of these outings, though Martin has put himself forward as a possible opponent for the second one.
Martin told Sky last month: “I want to fight the best available, and I want to welcome Dillian Whyte to the United States with another knockout loss.

Whyte has the WBC ‘interim’ belt and could be reinstated as mandatory challenger in the near future
“Whyte is an easy fight. He takes too many clean punches…
“Unfortunately, Eddie Hearn don’t want nothing to do with me beating his man…
“Once I heard Whyte was coming to the US, I can’t resist wanting to make that fight.
“Whyte ain’t s***. That fight would be a piece of cake for me in the US.”

Martin is the former IBF heavyweight world champion, but AJ took his belt in brutal fashion
Reflecting on the AJ defeat, he added: “Joshua never fought the real me.
“Taking that fight when I was hurt and unprepared is the biggest mistake of my life, but it’s a mistake I’m gonna correct before I retire.
“It’s the only reason I’m still fighting.
“Knocking out Dillian Whyte would put me one step closer to Joshua.”
