Chargers at Raiders free NFL live stream: TV, channel info, kick time
Chargers #Chargers
AFC West football is coming to Las Vegas for a Thursday night affair featuring the Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders. The contest is slated for an 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff live from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
The Chargers-Raiders matchup will be carried live on Amazon Prime with Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit calling the action. Amazon Prime does come with a 30-day free trial for users who haven’t had the service in the past 12 months.
Both the Raiders and the Chargers go into Thursday night’s game with 5-8 records and playoff chances that are just short of being on life support. While a four-week hot streak could conceivably bring postseason life to either team, neither the Chargers nor Raiders look like candidates to do it. Even if they did make a run, help would be needed with five teams ahead of them for the last playoff spot with 7-6 records.
Also true for both teams: the 2023 season is a surefire disappointment.
The Chargers have lost four of their past five games to perhaps raise questions about the long-term viability of coach Brandon Staley. They’ve also seen battered franchise quarterback Justin Herbert undergo season-ending surgery, turning the keys over to Easton Stick the rest of the way. In order to pick up the pieces and secure an AFC West victory, the Chargers will have to atone for Herbert’s absence and the loss of leading wide receiver Keenan Allen, who has already been ruled out to injury.

For the Raiders, they’re playing for an interim coach in Antonio Pierce and in a middling state offensively with limitations at the quarterback position. The man on the spot for that job has been rookie Aidan O’Connell, who is feeling his way through the job while trying to lean on the NFL’s most anemic ground game (80.6 ypg).
That lack of consistent balance won’t be helped by the potential absence of workhorse running back Josh Jacobs. All the while, O’Connell hasn’t made the most of an extended look at the job, perhaps sending a the Raiders back into the pool of quarterback prospects available in the 2024 NFL Draft.
