Palestinian officials have said that hundreds of people have died after an Israeli air strike hit the Al Ahli hospital in Gaza City.
Video verified by the BBC appears to show the hospital on fire.
Chaos unfolded outside the hospital as emergency workers attended to casualties and took them to a nearby hospital.
The Israeli military says it is looking into the incident.
