Channel 7’s Abbey Holmes, 32, and her new husband Keegan Brooksby, 33, have wasted no time setting up house, buying into the market five days after tying the knot.
The AFL glamour couple, who were married in the Northern Territory two weeks ago, have splashed out $1.45million on a new four-bedroom, two-bathroom pad in Melbourne’s Bayside reports the Herald Sun.
Posting to Instagram Abby shared a gallery of pictures to her stories celebrating the purchase.
‘Married on Monday. Buys a house on Saturday. Well… if this week wasn’t big enough,’ Abbey messaged her fans.
She included a photo of herself standing in front of her new home holding a bottle of champagne.

Another photo shows Abbey getting a ‘piggy-back’ from Keegan, as they pose in front of the home’s ‘sold’ sign.
Located in the beachside suburb of Edithvale, 46km from the CBD, the charming mid-20th century era cottage features a renovated interior with a spacious open plan layout.
Other features include a delightful BBQ deck and al fresco entertainment area and the large backyard boasts a vegetable patch.

It comes after AFL power couple were married earlier this month in an intimate ceremony at Uluru in the Northern Territory.
The pair wed in front of around 100 friends and family, including Abbey’s Channel Seven commentary colleagues Luke Hodge and Brian Taylor, as well as fellow Survivor Australia contestant, Olympic freestyle skier Lydia Lassila.
Keegan is a former AFL ruckman who is now head of development at Hawthorn.
The pair were engaged while holidaying in Uluru, NT in 2020.
