Champions League scores: Bayern send PSG, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe home; Tottenham ousted by AC Milan

Half of the final eight in Champions League has been decided. Using their home advantage, Bayern Munich rode goals from Eric Maxim Chupo-Moting and Serge Gnabry to a 2-0 victory over PSG (3-0 on aggregate). PSG had chances in the match but they weren’t able to find a finishing touch while injuries to both Marquinhos and Nordi Mukiele put Christophe Galtier’s defense into a tough spot. Unable to keep Bayern at bay, PSG eventually caved to the pressure allowing two goals which could see a scenario where Lionel Messi has played his final Champions League minutes as he is out of contract in the summer and Inter Miami are interested in bringing him to Major League Soccer.

In London, Tottenham never showed urgency drawing 0-0 with AC Milan, meaning the Italian side advance 1-0 on aggregate. Cristian Romero was sent off for a reckless challenge on Theo Hernandez and Spurs didn’t register a dangerous chance until the 93rd minute of play via Harry Kane. While it was a well defended match from AC Milan, Tottenham never looked like a fighting Antonio Conte team as the clock could be ticking on the Italian manager’s time in charge.
