  • Arsenal will welcome Bayern Munich and former Tottenham striker Harry Kane in the Champions League quarter-finals, while holders Man City face Real Madrid in a blockbuster tie.

The Gunners will host the reigning German champions in the first leg at the Emirates, before travelling to the Allianz Arena.

Pep Guardiola’s quest for a second consecutive Treble will require Man City to overcome record Champions League winners Real Madrid in the quarter-finals.

An all-English semi-final is possible with the winners of Arsenal and Bayern Munich hosting the victors of the tie between Man City and Real Madrid in the first leg of the semi-finals.

The quarter-final line-up also sees Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona clash, with the winners meeting either Atletico Madrid or Borussia Dortmund.

Arsenal will have to overcome a miserable head-to-head record against Bayen in Europe’s elite competition.

Bayern have won seven of their meetings in the competition to the Gunner’s three, while there have been two draws between the sides.

The German champions have won their last three matches 5-1 against Arsenal in the competition, winning 10-2 over two legs in the last-16 back in the 2016-17 season.

Kane’s return to North London will add further intrigue with Tottenham’s record goalscorer having scored 14 goals in 19 matches against their fiercest rivals.

Manchester City and Real Madrid will meet for the third consecutive season in the knock-out stage, but this time in the last eight.

Guardiola’s side will be hoping for a repeat of last year’s semi-final where a 4-0 home win too the Citezens into the final, after drawing the first leg 1-1.

Real Madrid had beaten City in a thrilling semi-final the previous year, winning 6-5 on aggregate.
