Celtics’ Enes Kanter perfectly reacts to Knicks’ NBA Draft Lottery misfortune

Knicks #Knicks

Luck was not on the New York Knicks’ side in the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery, and Enes Kanter clearly got a kick out of their misfortune.

Not only did the Knicks fail to move up in the lottery, but they also fell from pick No. 6 to 8. Kanter responded with a simple-yet-perfect tweet:

Don’t miss NBC Sports Boston’s coverage of Celtics-76ers Game 3, which begins Friday at 5:30 p.m. with Celtics Pregame Live followed by tip-off at 6:30 p.m. You can also stream the game on the MyTeams App.

It’s safe to say Knicks fans aren’t laughing, but the rest of the league is along with the Boston Celtics center.

Kanter grew unhappy with the Knicks due to his reduced role with the team back in the 2018-19 season. He was waived after the trade deadline and later picked up by the Portland Trail Blazers.

The C’s ended up with the No. 14 selection in the 2020 draft as the Memphis Grizzlies pick fell out of the top six and was conveyed to Boston. They also own picks No. 26 and No. 30 in the first round.

The Minnesota Timberwolves ended up with the No. 1 overall pick.

The 2020 NBA Draft is scheduled to take place Oct. 6.
