Celtics’ Al Horford elbows Giannis Antetokounmpo, gets technical foul after massive dunk in Game 4
Horford #Horford
MILWAUKEE — When Giannis Antetokounmpo got past Al Horford for a highlight in the first half, the Celtics big man was seen responding with an “OK” to Antetokounmpo’s trash talk. Antetokounmpo was hit with the tech, but it was clear what the Bucks star’s message was.
Horford was more than okay with a response. With the Celtics looking to come back in the fourth quarter, Horford — arguably the Celtics’ most important player Monday — threw down a huge dunk on Antetokounmpo.
The play started with Horford faking at the 3-point line and going right past Antetokounmpo on the drive. While Antetokounmpo looked to contest, Horford finished off the play with an and-1 poster on the two-time MVP.
It was a huge play and Horford was visibly fired up after the highlight, enough so that he was hit with a dead-ball technical foul after review. Horford’s been huge for the Celtics in Milwaukee, and he just added to his highlight reel despite not getting any younger at 35.
