Celtic 3 Hibs 1 LIVE score as Patryk Klimala bags a second half double
Soro #Soro
Celtic finished their pre-season preparations ahead of a campaign for the ages with a 3-1 win over Hibs.
Neil Lennon made wholesale changes from Sunday’s friendly against Ross County and the youthful Hoops side came from behind to down the Hibees.
Josh Doig gave the visitors the lead with a volleyed finish in the first half but Karamoko Dembele replied for the Hoops.
Patryk Klimala then found the finishing touch as he grabbed two goals in the second half.
In truth the first really should have belonged to substitute Leigh Griffiths after the Scotland striker chipped Hibees keeper Kevin Dabrowski, only for the Pole to get the final touch from a yard out.
Griffiths is back in the Parkhead frame after working on his fitness and he came on around the hour mark.
Klimala then stole in at the back post from a corner to notch his second late on.
Now it’s all eyes to the start of the Scottish Premiership this weekend when Celtic kick-off their 10 In A Row tilt on Sunday at home to Hamilton Accies, while Hibs host Kilmarnock a day earlier.
