Celebrate National Library week online
#NationalLibraryWeek
Find the library at your place during National Library Week April 19-25.
This week, Middletown Township invites all community members to find the library at their place by visiting the website mtpl.org to access MTPL@Home virtual services and resources. While the library’s physical spaces may be temporarily closed due to COVID-19, the public can discover ebooks, streaming movies, reading challenges, online storytimes and much more—all from home via mtpl.org or our Facebook page@ MiddletownTownshipPublicLibrary or search for Middletown Township Public Library or follow us at Twitter @MiddletownPL
In times of crisis, libraries respond to their community’s needs in innovative and inspiring ways. Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, libraries of all types are continuing to make a difference in people’s lives by providing free online learning resources, including resources to learn a new language while you are at home, family fun escape rooms from the comfort of your living room and multiple ways to contact our professional library staff to help with any questions as well as information about keeping your family well and safe. At Middletown Township Library there are a wide array virtual services such as Consumer Reports, virtual resume review, and personalized reading recommendations on what to read next.
April 19-25, 2020 is National Library Week, a time to highlight the valuable role libraries, librarians and library workers play in transforming lives and strengthening communities. Join us on our Facebook page Middletown Township Public Library each day for fun, informative MTPL@home events and resources.
